John grew up in the United States where he and his family moved 20 times by the time he was 18. This made him deeply insecure due to the pattern of establishing friendships, only to have to have them be lost repeatedly. This in a world where there was no internet, email, text or any of today's modern conveniences.
His parents were married and they divorced when he was in his teens. His biggest issue, which plagued his confidence for years, was that his father was rarely present. Being an only son with four sisters, he was starving for that male connection.
These challenges, including always just having 'enough' to get by financially, caused havoc growing up, but also helped to shape him into the man he is today.
This journey, how the all of these issues impacted John, his work to transform them into blessings and opportunities for change, and the key lessons he learned to help others overcome similar challenges, will be what this talk will cover.
It will be real, raw, authentic and the hope is to help those that watch this to help others, and possibly even themselves, as we all grow to move closer to our greatest potential.
